An overdue update! (from Chad:)

Dear Friends and Fam,

I am sorry we have been so out of touch with an update since Tucker was born, but life has been a little crazy, as I'm sure you can imagine. Here is the latest:

Tucker James Brannon was born on 6/6/2011 at 12:06 pm. (Yes, by the way, Tucker is the name of a car!) He was born at 5 lbs and 2.2 oz and 17 3/4 in. long. He was put into the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Glendale Adventist Hospital (where he was born) and has been there ever since. Carly and I have been driving back and forth to the hospital to see him, hold him, feed him, and give him love. It is a bit of a crazy process trusting your new baby in other people's care, but ultimately we know God is in control and is taking care of him and loving him more than we or anyone ever will. We think he will come home within the next 4 days or so. We are so excited to have him come home and for us all to be in one place! We are so thankful for him and can't wait for Hudson and Ford to meet him!

We are extremely thankful to you that have brought meals, helped with Hudson and Ford, and moving in/ fixing up our house. We moved in just a few weeks before the baby was born. Carly came home just a little more than 48 hours after her c-section. She is Super-Woman. She just missed our boys. She had been in the hospital for 8 days on a drug called Magnesium Sulfate, where she couldn't move and could barely see.

We love you all and can't wait for Tucker to  come home and for you to meet him. He's just the sweetest and cutest little guy. Pray to that end - that Tucker will "jump through all the hoops" of the NICU and get to come home very soon. Pray that Carly continues to recover as she is about to have 4 dudes in her house. Pray that we will depend fully and trust fully in God and His grace and mercy in all these circumstances.

Romans 8:31, 37 "What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? - But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Christ who loved us."

That truth is what has gotten us through all of this. We have much love for you.

Talk soon,

Chad

NOW your message makes total sense... I told Jim... I think she's had the baby. Well, I'm too far away to help out with practical help but I can give you the best help possible. I'll be sending prayers up for you, Carly, the boys and of course the latest addition.. Tucker James. Obviously he was just too excited to join you guys!! I pray that all goes well and in a few days you can all be home. Hugs to you all.

Congrats on the birth of baby Tucker! I'm sure he'll be out of the NICU in no time, after all, Hudson is his biggest big brother. :-) Happy for you guys!

Hi Chad and Carly - I was wondering about baby Tucker. My sister-in-law is due around the same time I was thinking Tucker was supposed to come and Teiya, their first-born, is just a month or so younger than Ford. Will keep your family in my prayers. I love those verses from Romans. What precious pictures of Tucker. So glad that he is home.
