The latest :)

Ok, we'll see how this goes. I'm updating on my iPhone And I can't see straight, great combo! :)

I just wanted to give a little update and wanted to say thank you to all of you who have been praying for our family.

Here's a little update on us! Monday evening (33 weeks 6 days)I started having contractions every 3-4 minutes and wasn't able to sleep or ignore them :) I came into Labor and Delivery where I assumed "my normal" turb shot would get them to stop. This time the turb didn't work so we went to the next plan which is magnessium sulfate.

Since Monday night I've been on the mag. Praise the Lord the stuff works but it is quite some stuff! (Im now 34 weeks + 3days) Just yesterday I got the ok to eat solid food, which has helped get a little bit of energy back. The mag has really knocked me out, quite humbling stuff :) I haven't been able to get up since Monday and haven't been able to see super clearly, it makes you quite dizzy!

But I have had time to think about all the things that I take for granted everyday and don't realize are sweet gifts from the Lord.Like being able to hop out if bed in the middle of the night to check on my sweet boys, or taking a shower :), eating real food, feeling well, seeing clearly, even the ability to work like doing dishes and laundry, just being home, seeing my boys everyday! Things I'm reminded of now:) that I'm just so thankful for! ( can you tell I miss them...a lot :)I'm reminded that the Lord is good. He's always good. Even just to make me realize how good I have it here: Baby is healthy, I'm still preggo, my boys are being taken care of, my mother in law has literally been super woman this week doing more in a few days than I can do in a month...I have lots to learn from her!My sweet dad who has been over everyday helping with handy projects and playing with the boys. We have insurance, and a million other things I could list,
But most of all, I know God is good. Really good. He is King and He's on His thrown and there's nothing going on out of his will or control. He's got a plan, and it's best! I'm thankful to rest in that.

So as of now it's a day by day thing (this coming Monday, I'll be 35 weeks, which would be great to get to, and pass!) as long as the baby is ok and the contractions don't break through, I will continue to stay on the "Mag". It could be a day or two or lots of days, so please keep praying for us. My body is pretty worn out. And it's still really hard to relax and focus. Pray Tucker stays healthy and can tolerate the mag a bit longer. Pray for Chad as he works, cares for boys, and holds the fort down at home. Chads mom leaves in the morning to head back to Texas, so pray for him as he is now on single dad role. Pray for energy :)

Hopefully some of that made sense :) Thank you again for caring for our family and praying for us! Much love, Cj
