never a dull moment around here :)

Last week sweet baby Ford caught a funky respiratory virus that turned into bronchiolitis :( (not the safest thing for a 6 week old). Between traveling on a plane last week and a having an older brother who likes to "touch" Fords mouth, its no surprise he got sick. The bummer was that, Ford being so little had a hard time fighting it (anyone bigger and stronger would be able to fight it off!) We ended up needing to take him into the ER at Children's Hospital, his breathing was quite labored and he was not himself. After several breathing treatments, monitoring and 12 hours in triage we were able to get into a room. Ford and I stayed over for 2 nights just so they could keep an eye on him. We are so thankful he is doing SO much better. Chad and I agree, the Lord must want to make sure we never forget how precious our children are, there seems to never be a dull moment around here ;). It's little times like these that remind us again that the Lord is in control. He's good and He allows these things to grow and teach us. We are thankful to be home and Ford is almost back to good!
Enjoying Ford :),

Ford has the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen on an infant - so soulful. The Lord has great things planned for this little one - and his big brother.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear Ford was so ill. It's scary and heart wrenching to see such a helpless little one feel so horrible.

I guess life wasn't meant to be easy...but I do think that all boys should be given 2 guardian angels, and their moms should be given a brand new nervous system after she's raised her children! =)

Enjoy your precious little men!
