Christmas Eve

We had a great night tonight with my family! We thought we would skip the cooking and cleaning. So, this year we went to Benihana's for Christmas Eve dinner. It was a hit! With a 12 month old and the unpredictable grandma Pat :) we picked the perfect place. The food was yummy and the show is always fun. We then came home for dessert and tea by the fire. Hudson opened his presents and played with all of them! We then put him to bed and Chad and I opened gifts with my parents. We scored! I really do have the most creative and thoughtful mom. Her(their:) gifts are so fun and unique, you can see the time and effort put into them. I got a bunch of great little pieces from Vintage Weave (one of my favorite stores in LA), World Market and the Container Store in Pasedena. Chad got some fun workout stuff and of course was using it right away in the living room.

It's so neat to look back on today one year ago and to see how the Lord has been so kind to us. Last year Hudson was 6 days old and in the NICU, we lived in Canyon Country, I was trying to figure out how I was going to run the shop being a momma and  we were praying for some great VO opportunities for Chad . One year later we have a beautiful , healthy baby,  at home with us. We moved exactly where we were wanting to live, close to family and church. We are selling the shop so that I can be @ home full time and Chad booked an amazing job with FOX this past fall! God is so kind just to save us, and yet he continues to give us even more gracious gifts! Praise the Lord for his grace! May we love and trust Him more!
