CJ Home Soy Candle Idea Giveaway!

So... Thanksgiving and Venice are all SOLD OUT! I do have stock on all others but am limited. Thank you for all the orders! I will hopefully have more by the end of this week. For all order info and contact, email me @ carlybrannon@earthlink.net.

I am brainstorming on what people are going to be wanting to have for Christmas scents? I have several ideas in the works but am curious to see what some of YOUR favorite Holiday/ Winter scents were?

This week I'm doing a candle give away of " Santa Barbara" my latest Fall candle (no biggie if you're far away, I can ship it!) To enter just post a comment with your name, favorite Holiday/Winter scent AND an all year scent you would love to see CJ Home candles have? I will do a drawing THURSDAY morning @ 9:00 so have all entries in before then :) Looking forward to your thoughts! -CJ

Definitely pine for the holidays or cinnamon/apple spice/cider..something of that variety!

For everyday I love fresh scents like fresh laundry or fresh mountain air..you could call it Arrowhead!!

I'm putting this up for Debbie Cooper... She suggested a "real christmas tree scent" ( i love it ;) She said no one has really captured the real scent!

Oh yes, a woodsie pine scent of a snowy winter cabin would be wonderful! Could also do something like an earthy gold, frankincense, and myrrh and call it Wisdom.

I love all the holiday food scent suggestions too. A couple more--gingerbread & sugar cookies or candy cane & mistletoe.

I'm with Jenny on the everyday scent of fresh mountain air--clean and crisp.

Happy candlemaking!

I didn't get to you fast enough. I have been looking for a good harvest candle, something spicy and you're all sold out of Thanksgiving!

Christmas scents I'd have to agree with my mom on the real Christmas tree scent. How about cranberry? Like trimming the tree with popcorn and cranberries. Very It's a Wonderful Life :)

Everyday scents - gardenia, lavender or something rich like sandalwood.

Hey Carly,
I haven't seen or talked to you in a long while, once and agin I see you at Church, but I love your blog, so encouraging and practical, thank you! I do have a suggestion to throw out there for candle scents.
Holiday or everyday: Vanilla Latte
Its simple, but I am simple so it make sense I would suggest this. You might already have this in a candle and if you do go ahead and disregard my suggestion, but thought I would throw it out there:)
Thanks, Cybill Leon

Hey Carly! I stumbled upon your blog site somehow, and I thought I would leave a candle suggestion: Cinnamon Spice (I think it is a mixture of cinnamon/nutmeg/allspice scents...). This is James' favorite scent for the holidays. I used to get some from Bath and Body Works, but I am not sure if they are making them anymore. It is one of the few candles he lets me use!

Oh, I forgot to leave an everyday scent option..... James also really likes the scent of coconut... so something with that. That is the other scent I get for throughout the year that he likes.

Oooh, for a holiday scent, how about like a Christmas cookie or a pumpkin/pecan pie scent, or maybe like that icy smell in the air that you get when it snows? Those are the things that I think of when I think of winter, in any case.

For an everyday scent, how about one like baby oil, or peanut butter cookies?

Hope all is well with y'all at SoBo, and I look forward to reading your blog!

I love the idea of a cranberry scented candle for the holidays! Or perhaps some sort of [caramel] apple scent too!
